GULAI BATANG PISANG KEDAH
Gulai Batang Pisang is a signature dish of Baling Kedah, especially in the village area. But please do not imagine in a pot or a crater is boiling a banana stick. The name is Banana Bark Gulai but banana stems are banana buns or banana dressing. Banana bunting is the centerpiece of the banana stems that are soft and white. It's the same as coconut lobe.
Banana stalks are usually cooked for feast and more tasty banana stalks using beef or goat meat.
Now, banana stem curry menu can also be made one of the special menu of breaking fast.
GULAI BATANG PISANG
The ingredients
500 g of meat - cube cut. It's good to eat some fat.
1/2 kg of bananas stem - cut 1 inch in length and removed the ropes, continue to soak in water to prevent it being bruised. (Old people, please use the banana tree or your banana stem)
1 cup thick coconut milk
3 cups water
1 tablespoon of cholera
1 small packet of meat curry spices
2 curry leaves curry
Pug Material:
1 inch ginger
3 cloves of garlic
1 onion
Cooking method:
Heat some oil in a saucepan. Saute the ingredients until fragrant.
Add the curry leaves and curry spices that have been mixed with a little coconut head until it becomes a paste. Saute until crushed oil.
Put in the meat, mix well and cook until cooked meat.
Add coconut milk, water, bananas and kerisik. Mix well and let it cook until tender meat.
Add salt and slightly seasoning powder. Cook for a while. Ready to serve.
